GOODSON, John S., Jr., Lt. Col USAF retired, Com-mand Pilot, died February 19th, 2016. Born July 30th, 1919 in Griffin, GA, he came to Tampa at an early age, and graduated from Hills-borough High School and the University of Tampa. He spent 28 years in the service and returned to Tampa upon retirement. Survivors include his wife of 73 years, Mary Cantrell Goodson; daughter, Mary Ann Chidlow; son, John Goodson, 3rd; grandsons Steven & David Chidlow and Terry Delaney; and 3 great-grandchildren.
