Funeral services were conducted at 4 o'clock this afternoon at the Barry Funeral Home chapel for Mrs. Edith Daugherty , 42 years old, wife of F. M. Daugherty. Rev. C. P. Simpson, of the First M. E. church, was in charge.
Burial followed at Highland cemetery.
Mrs. Daugherty, after an illness of about eight days, succumbed at 7:45 this morning as the result of pneumonia. Death came at the family home, 517 North Seventh.
The Okemah woman is survived by her husband. There are no children.
The Daugherty couple operated a lunch room on the highway at the west edge of town for serveral years
