Jeremy Scot Johnston, 35, of Strawberry departed this life Tuesday, August 30, 2016. He was born December 17, 1980 in Bossier City, Louisiana to Ronnie G. and Karen (Whittington) Johnston. Jeremy gave his heart to the Lord August 25, 1997 and was a member of Foothills Cowboy Church in Batesville, he was an accountant for Thomas, Speight & Noble, CPA, and a member of Lion’s Club. He was very involved in his son’s activities, enjoyed spending time with his family, loved to do yard work, and he liked LSU Tigers and the Chicago Cubs.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Oddis E. and Marjorie Whittington, and Thomas L. and Mavor Page Johnston, and three uncles; James E. Whittington, Sr., Tommy Ray Johnston, and Marvin T. Johnston.

His survivors are his wife; Charolette Wingo Johnston of Strawberry, two sons; Kade Johnston of Strawberry, and Conall Johnston of Strawberry, parents; Ronnie & Karen Johnston of Bossier City, Lousiana, one sister; Melissa “Butthead” Johnston of Bossier City, Louisiana, and in-laws; Billy and Sherrell Holland Wingo of Strawberry.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 5:30-8:00 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2016. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the charity of your choice.
