She was born to Fred and Hattie Meyer, on September 13, 1930 in New Hartford Iowa, with her twin sister, Loraine. Both girls went to college and became Nurses Assistants.
Lois worked as a CNA until she retired.
Loraine and brother, Richard Meyer, preceded her in death.
Lois married Wayne Epple on June 26th 1950 in Waterloo Iowa. They raised four children, who survive them: Diana Epple, of South Carolina; Bernice Williams and Pat, of Virginia; Duane Epple and Margaret, of Grants Pass; and Dennis Epple and Anna, also of Grants Pass.
Lois was a member of the Grants Pass Gospel Hall, and received the Lord Jesus as her own savior, on November 7th 1950, in Aredale Iowa.
Lois had 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday September 3, 2016 at Hitesville Cemetery with a reception to follow at Hitesville Gospel Hall.
