From the Adjutant General:
Bradon, James.- Age, 22 years. Enlisted, August 13, 1862, at Friendship, New York, to serve three years; mustered in as private, Co. K, 136th New York Inf., September 26, 1862; killed by guerillas, August 30, 1864, at Turner's Ferry, Ga.; also borne as Braydon.

Note: Killed by Guerilla's at Turner's Ferry, Ga. First buried near Atlanta, Ga. on the Battlefield. Brave comrade Bradon, knew well the cruel treatment of Union Prisoners by the enemy and told His companions he would never surrender, and when called upon by the Confederates to do so, emphatically refused and was ruthlessly shot down.
