Mr. Fontana was a member of Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church. He was a graduate of St. Matthew High School and attended NLU (now University of Louisiana Monroe). He served in the Air Force Reserve and was owner and operator of Cascio Restaurant for 28 years.
He was survived by his wife of 38 years, Julie Head Fontana; two daughters, Jennifer Riley and husband Patrick Riley, Jr. and Jodi Plummer; one son, Jeff Fontana; and 3 grandchildren.
