BUSH, Anna Belle Lee. Age 95, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017. She was born July 22, 1922 in Knoxville. She was preceded in death by parents, James R. and Betha (Burns) Lee and husband Raymond Bush. She was also preceded in death by siblings: John W. Lee, Lillie Mae Davis, James L. Lee, Jesse Lee, Robert Lee, Howard Lee, Albert (Bill) Lee and Trula Lawrence. She is survived by her son, Thomas J. (Tommy) Lee; 2 grandsons, Ricky and Randy Lee; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Also surviving her are two special nieces, Ginny Snow and Edna Alford, both of whom provided loving care for her during her long illness. The family is also thankful for the Covenant Hospice personnel that provided such special care the past several months. Anna was a member of North Knoxville Baptist Church. She was better known as "Annie" and had been a caregiver much of her life as she cared for both parents before their deaths, and spent 15 years taking care of her brother, Albert (Bill), before his death in 2008. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 9 from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. at Rose's (Broadway) Funeral Home, with a service to follow conducted by Rev. Guy M. Milam. A graveside service will be held at Bookwalter Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 10. In lieu of flowers, you can make a contribution in Anna's name to either The American Cancer Society or the North Knoxville Baptist Church General Fund.
