HUNT, Marion M. "Peggy" (nee Panabaker) Passed away peacefully on September 4, 2012, at 88 years of age. Beloved wife of the late A. Melville (Mel) Hunt, 2004. Loving and devoted mother of Roger Hunt (Debora Smith) and Janis Wittig (David). Dear "Nan" of Erin Hunt (Chris Dienesch), Bradley Hunt, Rebecca Hunt, and Cara Lizzotti; Jonathan Wittig (Karen Choy), and Andrew Wittig (Carla). Also survived by her sister-in-law Margaret Panabaker; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Peggy was born in Doon, Ontario on May 14, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Rueben and Ethel Panabaker (nee Bowman). Peggy was the last surviving member of her family being predeceased by her siblings, Kae Woolner, Art Panabaker, Glen Panabaker, Jane Holland, Ruby Ross, and June Woodall. Peggy and Mel shared a wonderful and fulfilling life together, they travelled extensively and made lifelong friends worldwide. They cherished special times with family and friends at their cottage in Kincardine. Peggy was a founding member of Forest Hill United Church and active in the community and a proud lifelong supporter of Pride Stables. In lieu of flowers, donations to Pride Stables (Central Ontario Developmental Riding Program - 584 Pioneer Tower Rd., Kitchener, Ontario N2P 2H9 (519)653-4686) www.pridestables.com or Forest Hill United Church would be appreciated. In celebration of Peggy's life a memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Forest Hill United Church (121 Westmount Rd., Kitchener).
