Anita Wanda Wiseman Smith, 91 years of age of Grundy, VA, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Heritage Hall. Born July 30, 1925 in Beckley, WV, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Jessie Nettles Wiseman.
Wanda enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She was of the Holiness faith, a loving grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother.
In addition to her parents Joe and Jessie Nettles Wiseman, she was preceded in death by her husband Earl Smith, daughter Ann Stiltner, son William Douglas Smith, several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her brother Joseph Wiseman of NY; grand daughters Jennifer Keen and husband Mike, Julie Quinley and husband John, Wanda Stacy and husband William and Joann Thomas and husband Donald all of Grundy, VA; grandsons Lee Stiltner and wife Martha and Michael Shawn Keen and wife Natasha all of Grundy, VA.
She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and her care givers Harold and Ermaline Stiltner of Grundy, VA.
Funeral service for Anita Wanda Wiseman Smith will be held at the Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home Chapel of Grundy, VA, Friday, August 26, 2016 at 12:00 noon with Pastor Brenda Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.
Active pallbearers will be her family and friends
The family will receive friends at the Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday, after 6:00 p.m. where evening service will be held Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
