This was my grandmothers [Lizzie Barnes] father. He was married to Victoria Flippin 2/10/1883. My grandmother showed me his tombstone, it is basically unmarked, with the writing faded badly. He is buried to the left of Victoria at Pleasant Green cemetary in Gibson co. I was told by my grandmother that cause of death was liver cancer. Children listed on the 1900 census were:Tennessee,[Tennie] b.3/1885, William b. 1/1887, Luther, b. 10/1888, Bertha, b. 6/1891, Girtrude, b. 9/1892, Ernest, b. 8/1894, Eva, b. 5/1895, Lizzie, b. 1/1897, d. 5/26/1982, Etta, b. 3/1899, d. 1/4/1985
