Married John Kettenhofen Nov 5, 1867

Mrs. Katie Mallmann Kettenhofen wife of John Kettenhofen, departed this life Saturday evening at 7 o’clock aged 45 years.
The deceased was born in Coblenz, Rhine Prov., and emigrated to the country in 1846. The family settled at Mosel town, Sheboygan county and Mrs. Kettenhofen was married twenty-three years ago. Her sister, Mrs. Peter Kettenhofen died just three weeks ago. She was always a rugged, active woman; her sickness only lasted seven days, inflammation of the bowels being the cause of her death. Mrs. Kettenfofen was greatly esteemed by her neighbors and friends, but the loss is heaviest on the husband whom grief and sorrow so sadly afflict. The loving wife and kind friend has passed the portals to the bright beyond. The husband and only sister, Mrs. Frank Kettenhofen, have the sympathy of all in their bereavement.
The funeral was well and favorably known in this city, she having been for a number of years a resident here.
