On Thursday morning Mrs. Peter Kettenhofen departed his life. The deceased whose maiden name was Anna Gertrude Mallman, was born in Halsenbach, Rhine Province, Germany Aug 3, 1839 and in 1847 emigrated with her parents to Mosel, Sheboygan County. Thirty-one years ago she was married to Peter Kettenhofen and for the past seven years has been a resident of his city.

She was a loving wife, a kind, thoughtful neighbor and a most estimable woman. Many sorrowing friends will mourn her death and sympathize with the bereaved husband in his affliction. Besides the grief-stricken husband she leaves three sisters, two brothers and a wide circle of relatives and intimate friends.
The funeral took place on Saturday forenoon from St. Joseph’s church. The burial was at St. Joseph’s cemetery. Appleton Crescent

The deceased was a resident of this city for a number of years and had many friends who greatly regret her death. The Times extends sympathy to the bereft husband.
