Obituary - One of our older residents, who had spent all his life in this vicinity, after a few week's illness, Mr. John Cress in his 74th year departed this life on Tuesday, Dec. 20th. Mr. Cress was the youngest and last of a family of seven of the late Ephraim Cress and Susan McMahon. His wife. Elizabeth Schafer predeceased him about two years ago, and he is survived by a son, Alvin of Kitchener and a daughter, Olivia, Mrs. Roy Miller of St. Jacobs.
