Lewisville-Bessie Mae Jones, 82, of Lewisville, died Friday at Westgate Hospital.
She was born February 21, 1899 in Denton County and was the daughter of the late Mike McCommas and the late Hettie Brown.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond A. Jones.
Service was Sunday at 3 pm at Orchard Road Baptist Church in Lewisville with the Rev. Jim Naugher officiating, assisted by the Rev. Paul Drewery.
Survivors include two daughters, Veta Massey of Lewisville and Vertie Herron of Blossom; two sisters, Evie Hamlin and Faye Pruitt, both of Lewisville; four grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
