Anna Plesker Michel, 88, died Thursday night at the home of her son, Max Barthel of Allen Road, Parish RD# 1. She was born in New York City on Feb. 1, 1882, the daughter of the late Max and Theresa Voight Plesker. She was a former resident of Syracuse where she was a member of the English Lutheran Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lucy Soble of Parish and Mrs. Anna Wood of Central Square; three sons, Max Barthel of Parish, Francis Michel of Clay and Otis Michel of Herscher, Ill.; 20 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren. Services were held at the Harter Funeral Home in Parish at 11 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Syracuse.
