Francis E. Michel, former resident of the Fritts district, Parish, New York, died Monday at a convalescent home at Central Square, where he had been a patient several months. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Anna Pieker Michel; two sons, Francis E. Jr., of Syracuse, and Lt. Otis J. Michel of the U.S. Army Air Corps, Selfridge Field, Michigan; a daugh-
ter, Mrs. Anna Michel Wood, Syracuse; one step-daughter, Mrs. Lucy Richardson of Syracuse; one step-son, Max Barthel of Parish, and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Hart Funeral home in Central Square at 9 a.m. Wednesday and at 9:30 a.m. in St. John the Baptist church.
Burial was in St. Agnes cemetery, Syracuse.
