Julie Oien Christensen, jente fra Norge, born June 18, 1927, in Orkanger, Norway. Julie had a love for life! Having migrated from the old country, she was able to visit back many times. She and her husband had a wonderful life serving many people through their temple mission in Sweden and other callings as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They loved to travel and see the world and especially to go to their cabin in Idaho. She passed away on August 14, 2016, with her loving family surrounding her.
Survived By: Her sons: Roy Christensen and Gary Christensen (Marcia Wiggins); grandchildren: Troy (Jessica), Cody (Stephanie) and Ryan Christensen; great-grandchildren: Isaiah Kuni, Damian, Cody and Dominic Christensen; and many extended family members and friends.
Preceded In Death By: Her husband of 62 years, Jewel Christensen, in August of 2012; her parents and siblings.
