Lillian was one of four children born to Elisha Foote, Junior and Lucy R. Prindle Foote. Her father enlisted with Camp Creek Guard, Second Brigade, of the Nebraska militia in 1862 and Lillian’s mother relocated to Illinois. They reunited with her father at Saint Joseph, Missouri about 1870 where her father was a wagon agent. They relocated to Batavia about 1880 where her father was engaged as a machinery agent. Lillian married to Charles Husted More on 28 November 1888 at Batavia. Lillian and Charles were the parents of one child, Carl Newton More.
