Brandi was a very unique individual with a style that was totally her own. Her family and friends came to know her as a person with a large personality, a sharp wit, an ornery sense of humor and a zestful approach to living life. For those who had the opportunity to have her as a part of their lives will carry with them many, many wonderful and lasting memories. She also enjoyed playing her Obo and Clarinet, riding horses, watching scary movies, and spending time with family.
One of those memories is a steak dinner bet won because someone didn't think Brandi could back a semi-truck to dump a load of wheat in one try at Ranch Drive Co-op. She was never afraid of a challenge.
Another memory is of Granny B helping her win the 2005 Wheatheart Bread State Championship.
She graduated July 30th, 2012 from Northern Oklahoma College with an Associate's Degree in Arts and Sciences.
Grandpa Bob says, "So if you hear a loud rumble in the sky, don't worry. It's just Brandi on Rojo chasing and rounding up wild cattle in heaven. We'll be there with you someday. Until then, happy trails."
Brandi is survived by her parents, Darrin Wade Lane and Cindy Sue (Ratliff) Lane of Red Rock, OK. And her sister, Kelbi Lynn Lane, of Tonkawa, OK. Her significant other, Tommy Lee Bolfer of OKC, OK. Her Maternal Grandparents, Bob and Bessie Ratliff, and Paternal Grandmother Gladys Lane. Great Grandmother Helen Ratliff. Numerous Aunts and Uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her Grandfather, Jack Lane, "Granny Mike" (Vesta Letha) and Cecil Cales, Sr., Earl Ratliff, Arthur and Anna Voegele, and Burch and Thelma Lane.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested Memorial Donations be made to Turning Point Ranch, the Red Rock Fire Department, and/or the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. Donations may be forwarded through Palmer Marler Funeral Home. You may also sign the guest book at perrycares.com.
