On November 29th, 1892, the death angel called at the home of John Dillenburg and removed to the land beyond, a wife and a mother. It was sad to see children so young and unconscious of their orphanage left to the care of others. Friends, neighbors and strangers wept that one so pure, so good, so true should be taken from loved ones so early in life. Mrs. Julia E. Dillenburg is no more. She died in the 26th year of her age and at the conclusion of the funeral services held at the M. E. church in Knowlton, her remains were taken to the cemetery nearby and laid to rest with kindred dead.
