Cleo Duzan OAKLAND Cleo A. Duzan, 69, of Oakland died at 4:50 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 27, 1993) at the Danville VA Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Taber Funeral Home in Oakland. Burial, with graveside military rites conducted by the Oakland and Charleston VFW, will be in the Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

He was born Feb. 1, 1924 in Coles County, the son of Everett and Olive Shafer Duzan. He married Muriel Miller in 1945; she died in 1971. He married Diane Skinner in 1968.

Surviving are two sons, William Duzan and Robert Duzan, both of Oakland; two stepsons, Todd Skinner of Newman and Tim Skinner of Oakland; two daughters, Mrs. Gilbert (Sandra) Kaiser of Centralia, Mo., and Susan Shonk of Paris; two stepdaughters, Sue Grafton of Hume and Shawn Bruce of Upton, Wyo.; three brothers, Dale Duzan and Reese Duzan, both of Oakland, and Wayne Duzan of Windsor; a sister, Sharon Roberts of Oakland; eight grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons,

Mr. Duzan was a retired businessman and land owner. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of WWII and a member of the Oakland, VFW Post 3637 and the Brocton American Legion Post 977. In 1971 Mr. Duzan led a tractor drive to Washington, D. C.
