Reese was born October 24, 1938, in Charleston, IL, to Everett and Olive (Shafer) Duzan. He married Mary Louise (Staggs) Duzan on August 17, 1959; she preceded him in death.
He is survived by three children: Terry Duzan of St. Peters, MO, Kerry Duzan of Hartford, CT, and Sheri Lydick of Lake St. Louis, MO; a sister: Sharon Roberts of Oakland, IL; and six grandchildren: Jourdan Duzan, Brett Duzan, Zack Duzan, Evan Duzan, Cole Duzan, and Luke Duzan. He was also preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Wayne Duzan, Cleo Duzan, and Dale Duzan.
Reese owned and operated Duzan's Furniture and Carpet Center in Oakland for over 36 years. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Krabel Funeral Home in Oakland, IL. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. For those who wish, memorials in Reese's honor may be made to the Oakland Senior Center or the Oakland Food Pantry.
