Arline Cash Pettus, 92, of 194 Crane Drive, Monroe died Thursday, August 11, 2016. She was the widow of William Gower Pettus who died December 17, 2009. She was born June 30, 1924, in Amherst County, the daughter of the late Lucas Dewey Cash and Leavia Fauber Cash. She was a member of Mount Tabor United Methodist Church and a former member of Peakland United Methodist Church. She was a loving daughter, mother and sister and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son, William Gower Pettus Jr.; her sisters, Mary Cash Smith and Beverley Cash Wells; and her brother, Dewey Alvin Cash.
