Brewster standard- December 13, 1979: - Alice Grey Duignan, 90, of Allview Ave., Brewster, died Dec. 6, at West Ledge Nursing Home, Peekskill, after a long illness. She was the widow of Harry Duigan. Born Feb. 27, 1889, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Grey. Mrs. Duignan had lived in Brewster since 1935, she was a beautician, and owned Alice Grey's Beauty Salon in Brewster until 1957. She was a member of the Brewster Grange and a parishioner of St. Lawrence O'Toole Roman Catholic Church in Brewster. Mrs. Duignan is survived by a nephew, Francis Grady of Kings Ferry. Funeral services were conducted by Beecher Funeral Home, Brewster. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Somers.
