Also preceding her in death were three brothers, Tommy, Charles, and Cleveland; five sisters, Mandie, Winnie, Lucille, Gladys and Ethel Mae also five more siblings.
Mother Turner was Keeper of Rabbits on the family farm which established her nickname "Rabbit".
She left home at the age of fourteen and later married Ernest Terry (deceased) in 1945 in Richmond, Virginia. Of that union one child was born. Before moving to Florida she married Minister Robert Turner (deceased).
Mother Turner continued her education in Philadelphia, PA obtaining her License Practical Nursing Degree on March 31, 1967. She was trained and worked at St. Mary's Hospital and John F. Kennedy Hospital and retired from nursing at St. Mary's Catholic School in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
Mother Turner received many certificates for her participation and active membership in the music department, state women chorus, playing piano, singing and church function notification.
Mother Turner was a faithful member and "LOVED" church. She was an active member of several churches through-out her life time.
At the time of her departure she was a member of All God's Children and the Living Word Worship Center of Valparaiso Florida.
In Mother Turner's younger years she loved traveling and fishing.
Mother Turner would wave like a queen and loved to be escorted as the Deacon's can attest. She always seized the opportunity to get in a love tap with her cane.
She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, one Goddaughter, one brother in law. In addition to four other brother in laws and five sister in laws; seven grandchildren, devoted ex-son-in-law, Terrence Gastone (deceased) and his wife, fourteen great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
