Services will be conducted at 2 pm Sunday at 8th & Woodland Street Original Church of God. Visitation with family will be from 6-8 pm Saturday at Roundtree, Napier & Ogilvies Columbia Funeral Home.
Mr. Abernathy was born Dec. 7, 1945, to Amanda Hunt Abernathy and the late Sylvester Abernathy. He was an employee of Hyperion of Lewisburg. He was a United States veteran. He was a member of 8th Street Church of God.
Bro. Abernathy was preceded in death by brothers Columbus Sylvester Abernathy, Joe William Abernathy and Reece Maurice Abernathy; and sister Evalee Abernathy.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories, a very loving and devoted wife, Lottie Webster Abernathy; devoted sons William "Tony" (Carla) Webster of Columbia, Patrick (Patricia) Webster of Mt.
