George Thomas Hottel Jr. a resident of Stratford, was born Sep. 20 1925 near Stratford, Ok. to Annie Belle (Perkins) and George Thomas Hottel. He passed away Oct. 31 2006 at Stratford,OK. at the age of 81 years. He was married to Virginia Lee (Roepke) Hottel, in Las Vegas, Nev. on Apr. 3, 1948. He was a sales representative and distributor for Mobil Oil Co. He was a Mate 3rd Class in the U.S. Navy and a veteran of World War II in the Pacific Theatre. He lived 33 years in Orange Cty, California. before moving back to Stratford in 1978. He was a member of the Church of Christ, Masonic Lodge #118 and McAlester Scotish Rite.
