"Urial Tyler, born in Springfield, PA, July 6, 1826; died January 29, 1867.
On February 22, 1862, married Ruth Lola Young, born September 3, 1842.
He enlisted as a Private in Company F, 118th IL Infantry, August, 1862 and was discharged for disability, December 8, 1863; he subsequently died of sickness contracted in the services.
He lived in Springfield, PA, where the children were born:
1) Elizabeth Marcia Tyler, born April 10, 1865; married December 30, 1884, David Piker; had two sons (Gilbert Tyler and Andrew Earle) and three children who died young. She lives in Warsaw, IL.
2) Polly Ruth Tyler, born December 8, 1866; died December 7, 1867."
