Geo. Adams was born November 18, 1865, in Cambridge City. On April 25, 1886, he was married to Miss Leona Jay. God blessed this union by giving into their care four children. After four years of happy married life he died at his home in Indianapolis with Bright's disease, February 8, 1911. He was taken away in the prime of life at the age of 45 years, 2 months and 21 days. He is survived by a wife, one son and a step-daughter. Mr. Adams for years has been an engineer in the employ of the Pennsylvania railroad company. He was a member of the Brotherhood and the Odd Fellows. He was kind, so good hearted, always cheerful, and given much to hospitality, never refusing to help his fellowmen when help was needed. He will be greatly missed by his loved ones and his many friends, for he was like a burst of sunshine in their midst. He died reconciled to God, having asked forgiveness of his sins commited in his past life, and receiving pardon from Christ, our savior, who says, 'Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.' The deceased was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John E. Adams and resided in this city all of his early life. The remains arrived here Saturday morning under of friends, and was laid to rest in the family lot in Riverside.
