Delpha was the devoted wife of Ray Williams. They would have celebrated 58 years of marriage this year. She was the essence of the phrase "Home Maker and House Wife." She was a stay at home mother and wife to 3 beautiful and loving children. Delpha played the role of Sunday School teacher, Den Mother, Brownie Leader, Little League Mother, Home Room Mother, Coffee Clotch participator in the neighborhood, together with being a loving and wonderful wife. Later in life she became active in many Masonic endeavors where she served as President of the Hamilton Commandry Ladies Auxiliary and was an active member of Fort Hamilton Chapter O.E.S. #568.
At Lindenwald United Methodist Church she taught Sunday School and was a very involved member of her beloved MIZPAH Circle. Her friendly smile will be sadly missed by many friends.
While awaiting in Heaven she leaves behind her husband; Ray, 3 beautiful children; Dave (Kathy) Williams, Rae Ann (Richard) Heskett, Paul (Mary) Williams, 8 wonderful and loving grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield on Monday, March 22, 2004 at 10 AM with Rev. Barry Burns officiating. Burial will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, March 21, 2004 from 3 to 6 PM at the funeral home with Eastern Star services at 5:30.
