Joe was born to Mary Elizabeth and William ‘Prim’ Middleton on March 26, 1947 in Corpus Christi, TX. The family moved to Dallas, TX in 1953 and Joe’s parents remained there, in their same home, for the rest of their lives. Joe was raised as a Southern Baptist and his parents were very diligent about attending church with their children. Joe has one brother, Mark, who survives him with his two daughters, Amber and Amy.
Joe attended Bryan Adams High School in Dallas and upon graduation, he went to college at East Texas State in Commerce, TX for two years. He followed that with two years in the U.S. Navy stationed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
He was baptized at St. Pius X Church in Dallas on December 22, 1966, at the age of 19, and confirmed 6 months later at Sacred Heart Cathedral there.
Joe passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016. Joe was a resident of Chicago, Illinois at the time of his passing.
