ROSE, Steven G. Age 65, of Whitesburg, Tennessee, formerly of Ross, Ohio passed away at Morristown Hamblen Medical Center on Friday evening August 5, 2016. He was born on November 12, 1950 in Somerset, Kentucky, the son of Paul and Fay (Baker) Rose.

Steve attended Ross Local Schools, graduated from Ross High School, and entered the Air Force Reserves in 1969. He was employed as a mechanic at Fernald from 1970 until his retirement in 2005. On September 9, 1970, he married Louise Turk and they were married for 28 years.

Steve was an avid competition trap shooter, hunter, and fisherman. He is survived by two children, Nicole Rose and Anthony (Johanna) Rose; a sister, Paula (Carl) Sizemore; three grandchildren, Tyler Hayes, Samantha McDannold and Hannah Rose; three nephews, Nathan, Warren, Darren Sizemore; more than a dozen nephews and nieces from his marriage; and many other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Fay Rose.

Visitation will be held at Charles C. Young Funeral Home 4032 Hamilton Cleves Rd. Ross, Ohio on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 from 10 am until the time of the service at 12 noon.
