John Ducker served in the Virginia Continental Line after joining in April 1781 in Frederick County, Virginia. He moved to Bourbon County, Virginia (later Kentucky) in about 1785. He acquired this farm in Campbell (now Kenton) County before 1800 and remained there until his death. He received a veteran's pension starting about 1833.
