Curtis Kea named Guardian ad Litem for the minor children of Thomas Kea, Deceased; Nancy, Delilah, James, Zachariah, John, William, Margaret, and Thomas; on Friday, March 4, 1836. Darlington County Probate Records

NOTE: Two days later, on Sunday, March 6, 1836, William Travis, Jim Bowie, and Davy Crockett, among others, were killed at the Alamo. The battle between Texas and Mexico began on Tuesday, February 23, and lasted thirteen days.
