"Monday, March 28, was the fifty-ninth anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Leddick, of Waterloo. Mr. Leddick is in his 84th year and his wife in her 70th; both are very active for people of their years. They spent Sunday in our village at the residence of their daughter, Mrs. George E. Wellbury. Mrs. Leddick is a niece of the late Hon. Jacob P. Chamberlain, her mother being his sister." (Seneca County News, 19 April 1892)

"Mrs. Carmelia Sanford Leddick, wife of Samuel Leddick, died at her home at Waterloo at 6 o'clock on Sunday morning. She was a native of Vermont, and was 77 years of age. She leaves a husband, two sons and a daughter." (Rochester Democrat and Chronicle, 6 December 1893)

"Mrs. Samuel Leddick died of pneumonia at 5 o'clock Monday morning, in the 77th year of her age. Besides a husband, two daughters, Mrs. Isaac Jolly, of Fayette, aud Mrs. George Wellbery, of Seneca Falls, and one son, Charles H. Leddick, of this place, survive." (Seneca County News, 5 December 1893)
