Annie Mai Harvey Barrett, age 93, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016 at St Thomas Rutherford Hospital. She was a native and life-long resident of Rutherford County.
Annie was preceded in death by her husband Haskel Smoot Barrett; parents, Joe Frank and Bonnie Harvey; son, Haskel Smoot Barrett Jr; daughter, Ann Hutchins; and brothers, Charles, Wesley and James Harvey. She is survived by her sons, James Ed (Peggy) Barrett, Charles Wayne (Connie) Barrett and Ricky (Shirley) Barrett; daughters, Arlene (Charles) Layhew and Bonnie Louise (Ray) Spray; twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren, twentyeight great-great-grandchildren and two great-great-great-grandchildren.

A service for Annie Mai will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 8, 2016 in Jennings and Ayer Chapel with Jason Barrett officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
