Jeanne Scropos, 69, of Lynnville, Ill., formerly of Howe, died Thursday afternoon at St. John's North Hospital, Springfield, Ill. She had been employed by Kenosha Wisconsin Unified School District and later retired after teaching many years at Howe Military Academy. She was born June 1, 1925, in Jacksonville, Ill. In 1959, she married Ted C. Scropos. He survives, with a son, Lee of Lynnville, and a brother, Jack McNeely of Winchester, Ill. She was a member of Lynnville Christian Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in Williamson Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Jacksonville.
Friends may call one hour before services in the funeral home.
