Willean Alford, daughter of Nova A. (Young) Price and the late Ralph Price, was born May 4, 1918 at Wild Cherry, AR, and departed this life Feb. 5, 1985 at the Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, at the age of 66 years.
She was united in marriage first to Ransom Brown.
She was united in marriage Feb. 16, 1950 at Mammoth Spring, AR to Paul Alford.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Thayer.
She is survived by her husband of the home in Thayer, MO; one son, Michael Paul Alford of the home, Thayer, MO; two daughters, Mary Jane Baker of St. Louis, MO; and Deborah Sue Brown of Mountain Home, AR; her mother, Nova Price of Thayer, MO; one grandson; and one sister, Lorene Richardson of Yakima, WA.
Her father and one brother preceded her in death.
Funeral services were Thursday, Feb. 7 at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Carl Moman officiating. Interment was in Thayer Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home.
