BOSSIER CITY, LA – Services for Martha Edwina Hodges will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2016 at Rose-Neath’s Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry Dean, pastor of the Pentecostals of Bossier Church. Interment will follow at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery, Shreveport, LA. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. On Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Bossier City.
Martha was born June 13, 1925 in Coushatta, LA to Daniel M. and Maggie Simmons Giddens and died July 31, 2016 in Bossier City. She was a member of the Pentecostals of Bossier Church and a homemaker.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Hodges; parents and brothers, Dan, Jarvis and William Giddens.
She is survived by her sons, Danny Hodges and wife, Judy, Darrel Hodges and wife, Cyndi; daughter, Cheryl Beavers and husband, Gary; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren.
Honoring Martha as pallbearers will be Dennis Peterson, Brian Beavers, Rickey Beavers, Michael Hodges, Randy Giddens and Izac Lee.
