Obituary From Laurel Leader Call- Mrs. Ruby Elise Stevens, 68, resident of Route 2, Laurel, died Friday in a Laurel hospital. Funeral services will be held Sunday, 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Thompson Funeral home with the Rev. Roy Myers officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemeery, Wayne County. She is survived by one dauther, Mrs. Clyde Thompson, Route 5, Laurel; three sons, Conner and Robert Stevens, both of Laurel; and Laurence Stevens Jr., Petal: 13 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, four sisters, Miss Ollie Shows, Route 2, Richton; Mrs. Travis Nicholson, Route 4, Laurel; Mrs. Charles Ervin and Mrs. V. L. Springer, both of Laurel; four brothers, Victor Shows, Coda Shows and Lamar Shows, all of Richton; and Pat Shows, Laurel.
