Mrs. Arthur B. Ahrens nee Vernell Elenora Becker of Fredericksburg, Texas passed away in the Heart Hospital of Austin, Austin, Texas on Saturday, July 30th, 2016 at the age of 82 years.
Vernell is survived by two daughters, one son & spouses,
Arlene & Daryl Kelly of Kerrville, Texas
Amy Arnell Ahrens of Kerrville
Alton & Barbara Ahrens of Murphy, Texas
Six grandchildren
Sister in law, Vera, Mrs. Walton Becker of Fredericksburg
Brother in law, Lester Arhelger of San Angelo, Texas
Vigil services will be held on Thursday evening at 6:00 P. M. in the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg.
Mass of resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, August 5th, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fredericksburg, with Monsignor Enda McKenna officiating.
Graveside services and interment will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Fredericksburg.
Those who so desire may make memorial contributions in her memory to the Disabled American Veterans.
Visitation for Vernell Ahrens will be on Thursday afternoon from 5 to 7:00 P.M. and on Friday morning from 7:30 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. in the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg.
