Sperry Rits Held At Fayette
Fayette--Funeral services for William Sperry, 103, who died in Palmer Memorial hospital at West Union Thursday, were conducted Monday Afternoon from First Methodist Church by Rev Jerry Wolcott. Prayer was offered by a grandson Rev. Oliver Paul, Waterloo. Burial was at Alpha with Reed Funeral Home of Waucoma in Charge.
Surviving are his widow, who is 91 years of age; six Children, Lillie, Mrs Ray Farley, who makes her home with them; Maida, Mrs Art Kammeyer, Fredericka; Charles, New Hampton; Myron, Terre Haute, IND; Robert, Cedar Rapids, and William Jr., Albuquerque, N Mex.
Mr Sperry marked his 103rd birthday last Monday while a patient at the hospital.
