Catholic funeral services will be held for Mr. Joseph Herbert Miller at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 11, 2022 in La Chapelle de Martin and Castille's DOWNTOWN location. Joseph, 89, of Lafayette, Louisiana, passed away in the early morning hours of July 9, 2022 from old age, surrounded by his loved ones.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Herbert was graced with more than 30 years of loving marriage to his "beb". He was an Army veteran who loved to dance and could fix anything he put his hands on. He was particularly close with his grandchildren who will miss him very much.

He is survived by his wife, Eunella Martha Miller, his four siblings, Val, Cheryl, Linda, and Margaret, his two stepchildren, Darrel and Lisa, his eight grandchildren, Steven, Tina, Corey, Tammy, Crystal, Kimberly, Angela, and Zeke, and fourteen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Nelson, and his stepdaughter Marlene.
