The son of Thomas J. and Maud Lea (Brogan) Protsman, he was born Saturday, Feb. 16, 1918, in Hennessey.
Bill worked as a building contractor and construction superintendent. He was a VFW life member and a 32nd Degree Mason and Shriner. Bill also enjoyed woodworking and fishing. He served in the Army Air Force from 1942-45. Bill married Josephine Marshall who preceded him in death. He then married Mary Jo Mitchell who also precedes him in death. Daughter Nancy also preceded him in death.
Survivors include son James William Protsman Jr., Fraser, Colo.; granddaughter Katie Protsman, Fraser; grandson Jake Protsman, Fraser; daughters Sandy Trimble, Tulsa, Beth Houchins, Tulsa, Susan Barker, Talala; sons-in-law Mark Maddox, Buck Houchins, Jerry Barker and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Dalton-Holmes Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
