James W. Hughes, 59, died at 7 am Tuesday at home in Niles, Frenchcreek Township.

Surviving are his wife; two sons and a daughter, Angus and Donald at home, and Mrs. Harold Reagle of Franklin; brothers and sisters, J. P. Hughes of Oil City, Mrs. Bertha McKissick and Mrs. Elizabeth Wilkinson of Polk, Mrs. J. S. Runninger of Franklin; and his mother, Mrs. Sarah Hughes, who lived with him.
