Funeral services for James G. Mauldin will be at 3:30 p.m. today at the Coker-Mathews-Peters Chapel with Rev. Ben Smith and Jerry Byars officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.

Mr. Mauldin died at 1 a.m. Tuesday in Medical Hospital after a month long illness.

He was born March 15, 1920; in the Wagner Community, and married Jean Fanning July 29, 1944.

He was a World War II veteran, and worked with the Maudlin & Son Cemetery Service.

Surviving are four brothers, Claude Mauldin and Leo Mauldin, both of Greenville, Travis Mauldin, Campbell, Newman Mauldin, Mansfield, La., four stepbrothers, J.C. Harper, Springhill, La., Bob Harper, Dallas, and James and Roy Haprer, both of Greenville, three sisters: Mrs. Helen Lewis, Mrs. Virginia Claghorn, and June Cook, also of Greenville.

Pallbearers will be his nephews.

Mr. Mauldin died at 1 a.m. Tuesday in a Greenville Hospital after a month-long illness.

He was born March 15, 1920; in the Wagner Community, and married Jean Fannin July 29, 1944.

He was a World War II veteran, and worked with the Maudlin & Son Cemetery Service. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Florence Mauldin in October of 1965.

Survivors include: his widow, Mrs. Jean Mauldin; his father, J.C. Mauldin; his step-mother, Mrs. Sadie Mauldin; ; four brothers, Claude Mauldin and Leo Mauldin of Greenville, Travis Mauldin, of Campbell; Newman Mauldin, Mansfield, La.; four stepbrothers, J.C. Harper, Springhill, La., Bob Harper, Dallas, and James and Roy Haprer, both of Greenville; three sisters: Mrs. Helen Lewis, Mrs. Virginia Claghorn, and June Cook, all of Greenville.

Pallbearers were his nephews.
