Helen passed away peacefully May 7th 2014 at the age of 100 in her Adult Family Home with her daughter, son –in-law, and pastor at her side. She was born February 24th 1914, in Deer Lodge Montana to Hal and Lillian Williams. Preceding her in passing were her beloved husband of 53 years, Kenneth, and her son Roger.
Helen had a very bright and positive attitude and always had a twinkle in her eye. She was an inspiration to all that knew her! Helen’s favorite phrases were “You are one in a million”, “You rascal”, “Live and let live”, and “I love you and Ali too.” Helen and Ken were longtime residents of Bothell, WA. They joined the Senior Center and started the Soft Ball Tennis Program.
Helen is survived by her daughter Karenjean (Ron) Hoetmer. She is also survived by daughter-in-law Krystyna A. Tierney, granddaughters Andra and Ela Tierney, her brother Bill Williams and sister Bettyjean Seabury. Her other grandchildren include Chris Hoetmer and Julie Hoetmer Ryan, and her great grandchildren Ben and Hazel Ryan.
There was a small family gathering at Acacia Memorial Park and Funeral Home.
