He was a faithful member who served as trustee, sang in the choir, and enjoyed serving others by doing numerous tasks at the Church that needed to be done, including setting up for dinners, meetings, and funeral services, and where ever a hand was needed, Cecil was always willing to give of his time.

Mr. Rogers retired from GM in 1998 as a tool and die maker. He served over 50 years on the Sunfield/Sebewa/Danby Fire Department, was a long-time member of the Sunfield/Lake Odessa Lions Clubs. He loved to golf, bowl and fish. He enjoyed watching sports, especially his beloved MSU Spartans, Detroit Tigers, Redwings and Lions.
