Charlotte LaVaughn Hammond, age 78, a resident of Farmington, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 in Springdale.

She was born December 28, 1937 in the Wedington Community, the daughter of Buril and Edna (Wright) Lankford.

She attended the Westside Free Will Baptist Church in Springdale. She loved bowling, reading, and family and friend get to-gethers and was active in the Senior Centers in Lincoln and Farmington.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Frank Hammond; one daughter, Traci Lea Hammond Harp; two brothers, Leroy Lankford, and Bill D. Lankford; two sisters, Donna Carol Bailey, and Sondra Lankford.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Rick (and Jan) Hammond of Bethel Heights, Arkansas; one son-in-law, Bobby Harp of Farmington; two sisters, Pat Gideon, and Marge Lankford both of Prairie Grove; five grandchildren, Ricky Hammond (and wife, Teresa), Derrick Hammond, Jeremy Hammond, Amy Harp and Alex Harp; four great-grandchildren, Kinley Hammond, Michaele Pennington, Aidan Harp, and Blake Gibson; and numerous nieces, nephews and was loved by many.

The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, July 29, 2016 at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday July 30, 2016 at the Farmington Cemetery Pavilion.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Hammond, Derrick Hammond, Jeremy Hammond, Alex Harp, General Mills, and Ricky Harp.
