Neva Marie Davis, 89, of The Oaks, Hendersonville, NC passed Friday, July 22, 2016 at the Life Care Center of Hendersonville in Hendersonville, NC.
She was born February 17, 1927 in Beaver, Ohio, the daughter of the late George Washington Slone Sr. and Vergie Celia (Pennington) Slone. On July 30, 1950, Neva was united in marriage to Elson Virgil Davis who preceded her in death October 27, 1987.
Surviving are her two sons, a daughter of Londonderry, NH, 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, and a sister.
Neva was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 7 brothers, Oshel, Hasel, Jolly, Ersel, Virgil, Jasper and George Slone and 2 sisters, Elma Shepherd and Betty Young.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Hendersonville United Methodist Church in Hendersonville, NC.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly, Ohio with, Pastor Tim Hines, officiating. Burial will follow in Beaver Union Cemetery, Beaver, Ohio.
Family will receive friends at the Boyer Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday.
